So today is Saint Nicholas Day, a day that my hubbies family celebrates. All I know about the day is that if you were a good kid you get a gift on this day and if you were not a good kid you get a "switch" - I think it is called? It's a bunch of twigs wrapped together? If you get this bad gift then I guess you have till Christmas to be a better kid and hopefully get some gifts! ? So last night my in laws came over and me and hubby got gifts, hubby got a singing snowman on a motorbike and his M&M candy dispenser that he gets every year (this year it is a fire truck). And I got a penguin serving tray (good for cheese and crackers) and a salt n' pepper shaker that is also a penguin (salt) pushing a snowball (pepper) it is really cute! So I guess we were "good" this year! :)
I am leaving work early today to take my MIL and cousin to a Party Lite open house out in Morinville, it's about an hour drive from my house. Our consultant lady has a annual Christmas open house where she sells all her old stock at a really good price so I will see if there is anything I like and I will also probably buy some more wax. Then we are going to go out for supper - not too sure where we are going yet but it should be good!
It is suppose to get really nice again this weekend so maybe hubby will get the Christmas lights up after all ? ;)
