mini-Friday!

Our dog got sick this morning and as my wonderful hubby started cleaning up the messes I was in the bedroom getting dressed and could hear the dry heaves and coughing like he was about to loose it! This is something that he would normally NOT do! But since I was feeling queasy just at the thought of cleaning up the mess he was the only one left to take on the job! ;) I actually found it quite humorous, I was thinking that now he can feel like how I've been feeling for the past 2 months! he he Anyway it was very sweet of him to clean it up but really he had no choice cause I'm a sympathetic vomiter when I'm feeling good never mind pregnant and queasy! :)

I think I am going to try and sneak out of here at lunch time to run to the dollar store for some tissue paper and maybe a small gift box. Then I can finish wrapping all our gifts this weekend. Tonight is bowling night and we are having our x-mas party with them. In the past the league itself has bought all the food for the party and we are just asked to bring a donation for the food bank but this year since we didn't sell Grey Cup tickets we don't have the funds in the league to pay for it so everyone is asked to bring a food item and a food bank item, we have to bring desserts! One of the easier and cheaper things to bring I suppose? My FIL is going to pick up a couple big trays of desserts at Costco and we just have to remember to bring the food bank donation and money for the dessert trays. There should also be more draws then on a normal day so I may have to bring a little extra money to buy some tickets (if there is anything good!). It will be a long night however, with everyone going up to fill their plates all night and then to do the extra draws, I don't expect to get home till at least 11:30!

Only one more 'work' day after today till the holidays begin - I can hardly wait!! :)
