Happy Friday and a Long Weekend!

Went bowling last night, for the first time in three weeks! It was OK -of course I sucked but at least it got us out of the house! ;) Everyone had to ask how I was which was nice and we ended up getting home at 11ish.

Today is really nice out, it's in the plusses but last night we had freezing rain so the roads this morning were terrible! I think I saw 6 cars in the ditch and one really bad accident on the highway this morning! I kept thinking that I forgot my cell phone at home so I drove pretty cautious. I also think that I drive slightly different now that I know there is a baby in me! I feel like I should get one of those "baby on board" signs and put it on my car even though baby technically isn't here yet! ? ;)

I booked an appointment for the UC Baby thing yesterday (April 12) but now I'm debating if I really want to spend that kind of money on something like that? The lady said you get a disk with 30-100 pictures on it (depending on how co-operative baby is) but that got me thinking .... just how many pictures do you really need of baby in the womb!? You could make a whole album of just womb pictures!? Granted they would be super cute and you would never be able to get pics like that again but honestly it seems like a lot of pictures!? I wonder if they would be like my wedding pics and just sit there on a disc to be looked at maybe once a year!? I think I will see if they have any smaller packages, like maybe 20 pics for less money!? I mean ~ I still have another ultrasound and I will get more pics there, so that will give me 4 pics, which I think may be enough for a scrapbook page?! I'm just not sure and I don't want to regret my decision later it's not like I can change my mind after baby is born!? But $150-$200 seems like a big chunk of change!?

As for the weekend.... supposidly hubby is going to start on the basement reno's!! :O FIL is coming over to help so it might actually get started!? ;) Hubby wants to start on the laundry room so I have to make sure I get all my laundry (or most of it) done tonight, cause the washer/ dryer will be out of order for a few days. Then on Sunday we are suppose to go for dinner with my Dad to celebrate his 55th birthday, I think we will go to Montana's and I can have fajita's. I was looking online at all the restaurants nutritional charts and Montana's seems to have the most low fat choices. Then Monday is a holiday (Family Day) a holiday that is usually too cold to do anything with your family!? We have no plans for this day -- probably just catch up on house work and maybe do some more baking, I'm almost out of muffins! :P On Tuesday we have our first "early Prenatal" appointment, I guess it is like a preview of what's to come when you go to the actual class in a few months ? That's about all ... have a good weekend! :)
