We have been having issues again at work with our computers, at least this time I have Internet but I just can't bill out any invoices. And the dipsh*t I work with is MIA again, probably on another pilot run, he didn't show up yesterday and so far isn't in today either. Last time I felt bad that dipsh*t wasn't here and didn't want to leave my boss by himself so I cancelled my ultrasound (it was for my gallbladder, not the baby) but this time I refuse to cancel anymore appointments because dipsh*t isn't reliable enough to show up, especially if the appointment is for baby! It's not my job to care if he is here or not, I just have to worry about myself and I gave plenty of notice about this doctor appointment! Dipsh*t didn't give any notice about taking a few days off this week! So today I will be leaving at 2:00 whether he is here or not, whether we are busy or not .... no ifs ands or butts! I think I will probably have to take my gestational diabetes test this week too, the one where you drink the flat orange pop and stick around the lab for an hour then get your blood taken. I'm a little worried only because with the low fat diet any 'treat' I have seems to be low fat but high in sugar. Hopefully this doesn't affect my test and then I will have to be on a low fat, low sugar diet! :( No treats at all!!
I forgot to mention, when I was in the hospital the last time, my roommate who was 28 weeks pregnant was in for high blood pressure and a low cervix. I also think she was a little nuts and just wanted to get another ultrasound of her baby (like most first time mom's), anyway .... she kept telling the nurses how she couldn't feel the baby move and it wasn't normal, that her baby was a very active baby. So every 4 hours they would hook her up to a non-stress test to see how the baby was doing and you could hear the baby moving like crazy but she would continue to insist that she couldn't feel it. If the baby did slow down a bit the nurses had this trick where they took an empty pop can and would crush it to make that tin noise - this would get baby moving! I thought it was neat cause not only would it make her baby move but mine would also react to the pop can crushing sound!? How weird is that! So of course I told my hubby about it so now at home he is trying out the pop can theory and tries to get baby active by crushing his cans! ;)

That's cool! I'm going to tell Hubby to start crushing his cans by my belly!
