Well I don't have much time to post, we just finished supper and hubby needs to go back outside to clean his truck. But I just wanted to let everyone know about swimming class! We had our second swim class today and it is going OK, I wish the class was geared more towards babies and not just generalized swim class. In our class we have babies ranging from 4 months to 4 years so the games and songs we sing and play aren't always 4 month friendly!? Like today the teacher wanted us to throw rings in the pool and get the kids to dive down and get them ... well Jacob can't do that, he wasn't even really all that interested in the ring never mind putting his head under the water (which I have only done once and he wasn't too sure about it?). And we sang "ring around the rosy" and when the time came to fall down I never dunked his head under but the older kids would !? I think it would just be better if it was directed more to babies learning to get used to water in the ears and putting their head under the water?!
I also wanted to mention how right after I posted my "milestone" post about him sitting up I read an article in one of the magazines I read about how first time moms often call an attempt a milestone when really the baby is still learning and it still might be months before they actually reach the milestone for good. So maybe technically he isn't quite sitting up yet and maybe it was just a fluke that he sat there long enough to snap a pic but I still say he is close to sitting!! ;)
That's about all I can post for now ... hubby keeps coming in the computer room anxious to get outside!? So I guess that is his way of telling me to get off the computer (even though I still need to pay bills and I wanted to check out Facebook) !! grrrr

Ha - you're too kind, i would have gone out of my way to take my time if dustin was being like that.
too bad swim class isn't geared toward Jacob...maybe some of the other classes will be geared toward little ones and not the older ones?
