Week 5 weigh in

Well I'm slowly getting better, now I just have a head cold and I would rather deal with a stuffy nose then a sore stomach any day! I will hopefully be 100% by next week? This cold seems to be lasting forever, so far three weeks!



For my weigh in this week I officially lost -3.4lbs, not bad considering I was down 6lbs before I started eating again! I have a feeling though that my next week won't be so nice and I might have even gained some of the weight back! I've been having some cheats lately, popcorn one night and ice cream the next (which felt great on my sore throat!). I thought I would post my weekly progress for everyone to see:


Starting weight = 214lbs

week 1 = 209.8 (-4.2lbs)

week 2 = 207.4 (-2.4lbs)

week 3 = 207.8 (+0.4lbs)

week 4 = 206.2 (-1.2lbs)

week 5 = 202.8 (-3.4lbs)

The weight isn't coming off half as fast as I hoped it would but that is because I'm not exercising and I know if I would even just go for a walk once a day that would help so much but it's so hard right now when it's minus 20C outside! I'm hoping that in the spring I can do more outside and that will help me loose more weight quicker! I should be getting my second order of NS today or tomorrow and hopefully there isn't too many substitutes. This week I have been eating less NS and trying to make my own healthy meals so we will see how good I am at eating right on my own on Monday!

I hear Jacob waking from his nap now so I better go, we have swimming today and I still need to get our bag packed!

Congrats on the loss - don't beat yourself up over anything Leanne you've lost over 11 lbs...that's awesome!

Congrats on the loss. I have heard that slow and steady is a better, more long lasting way to lose weight.
