So we have been extremely busy trying to get the backyard ready for Jacobs 2nd Birthday party, we (Great granny and us) bought him a play set for his birthday and we NEED to get it assembled before his party on the 12th but we had to get rid of a cement pad we had in the middle of our yard and do a little landscaping first before we can assemble his play set. Last weekend we were able to jack hammer the cement pad and hubby hauled it to the dump, we also rented a sod cutter and removed all the sod, a tree stump grinder to get rid of some stumps and then last night we rented a packer and packed/ leveled the area for the play set. Right now it just looks like a big dirt yard but at least it's leveled and ready for road crush!! Yesterday was also grocery shopping day and we decided to take our trailer to the track, after we packed/ leveled the yard and loaded hubbies truck with all the bad dirt. So just after 10pm I headed to the grocery store for our monthly groceries!! I didn't get home till 11:30pm!! Then we packed the trailer with essentials and hubby hauled the trailer to the track and went to dump the dirt there too!! :P Of course I couldn't fall asleep right away and tossed and turned till hubby got home at 2:30am!! So here I am, at work, after only having about 4hrs of sleep! I actually don't fell too bad ... yet! I'm sure it will catch up to me! Tonight we plan on getting a load of road crush and hopefully put some boards down so that next week we can put a new fence up! The bad part of all this is that we really don't have as much time as you think because hubby works weekends at the track and I work out there Friday nights so really we only have 4 days next week to finish this project! And from what I have read online the play set we bought takes about 2 days to build!! Below I posted a pic of Jacob in his "Daddy work pants", he loves to help and actually gets quite mad if we don't let him. Yesterday he helped push the packer around (I got it on video and will post) it was so cute to see him "help Daddy"!
symptoms, feelings, all the crap you thought you knew and a few you might not have! I'm laying it all out on the table - even the dirty stuff! ;)
