So just as hubby was about to go start my car on Sat. morning to go shopping my Mom called, she had fallen the day before and hurt her knee - she didn't think she could go shopping! :( Well I wasn't about to go by myself cause then this would mean that I would have to tackle the mall twice so we finally figured out that her "man friend" would go to their storage unit and get her wheelchair that she used a bit last year but has since been using a walker. But then they were worried about me lifting the chair in and out of the car so we decided that her friend would come with us. We got to the mall at about 10am and it was actually fairly empty!? Our first stop was Jacob Jr. where we bought gift cards for my brothers wife's daughter, then we found one of the maternity stores that we wanted to check out, Thyme Maternity. The service wasn't so great when we first walked in but then the lady quickly spotted us and came over to explain the sizes and different styles. She kept grabbing a bunch of different things for me to try on and in no time my dressing room was full! The did have a bunch of sales on, mostly buy one get the second for a discounted price. I thought my Mom was just going to buy me a outfit or give me $100 to spend but when it came time to buy she put it all on her Visa!! I didn't have too pay for any of it - I feel so
Other then that my weekend was pretty lazy - I didn't do hardly any house cleaning. I'm excited for my new clothes and can hardly wait to wear them, I thought I would try and go as far as I can in my "fat" jeans but this morning when I tried putting on my "fat" jeans fresh out of the dryer .... they were a little too tight so I might end up wearing them sooner then I thought! I think I will get one more pair of jeans and maybe a few more tops but I can always do that after Christmas when the malls aren't so busy. I never did end up checking out Motherhood Maternity cause I was too tired from the first store so I would still like to check out that store! The lady at the store recommended that none of their clothes go into the dryer - she said they should be hung of laid flat to dry! Because of the spandex material she said it will keep them in better shape for longer. So I guess I will have to figure out where I am going to hang or lay them to dry! ?

It was so nice of your mom to buy you all those clothes! How sweet!
When it comes to drying my clothes, I bought a wooden clothes rack at Wal-Mart (I think you can get 'em for about $8). It folds up when not in use. I've also seen some that you can put in your bathub.
sounds like you got some good stuff! you'll pick stuff up here and then too. def check the sale racks and buy good quality stuff, b/c you'll use it again if you plan on having another :) another good place to check is craigs list...well we have that here in the states, don't know if you have it in canada or not, but you can find people selling lots of their old maternity staples and clothes for really cheap! Old Navy here in the states (oldnavy.com) has great stuff and I have ordered most of my clothes from them. they are reasonable, fashionable and good quality. My husband went there over the weekend and bought me some comfy clothes (sweatpants, sweatshirts and pjs etc) that he had intended to give me for christmas, but when he got there and all of the maternity clothes were 40% he went crazy so he had to give me some stuff early :)
