Well ... today is my 5th day on WS (Wonderslim) and so far it's going pretty good. The weekend was a little bit of a challenge, we did our usual (visit family, go to St.Albert, etc.) so I found that my water intake was not where it should have been. I was lucky if I had 32oz, it's just hard to drink that much water when you are traveling and at other people houses. Then on Saturday I had packed some snacks for Jacob but he didn't want anything I had packed for him so I went to McDonalds and got him a meal, nothing for me! But I did steal a bite of his cheeseburger and had about 1/3 of his fries. It's hard to say no to him when he offers me food, last night we had fish sticks for supper and Jacob dipped one of his and said "Mommy eat" as he handed me his half dipped fish stick, so I replied "Oh- no sweety, you eat" and he insisted "NO -MOMMY eat!" so I had a bite, I suppose I could have pretended to take a nibble off the end but I figured what the heck it's only one bite of a fish stick and if that is going to stop my weight loss then I guess I was meant to be the fat girl!
Well... I was a little worried about the cheats I had and wanted to wait till I had been on the program for a week before weighing in (just in case I didn't see the results I wanted too) but I couldn't do it... last night at the gym I jumped on their scale and it showed a loss. So this morning my co-worker convinced me to get on our scale here and see what it said and guess what?! It showed a 5lb loss and I still have 2 more days before my official weigh in!!! Yah!
Surprisingly I don't really feel as hungry as I thought I might, I am however very thirsty which I suppose is good cause it helps me get my water in. The Puddings/ shakes are good, nothing fancy and the protein bars are like having a treat! As for the 'meals' ... they are a challenge to eat! Not so good, edible ... but barely! The only one so far that was good was the veggie joe, the 'chicken' meals will not be on my next order! I also got a scale so I could learn how much 5oz of meat is and I am very surprised at how BIG 5oz of meat is!! Plus my 2 cups of veggies for supper, my plate is very full! I so far can say that I like the plan, I think I will continue on it for at least another month. I just have to figure out how to order things separately so I don't get the 'chicken' meals anymore!! :P

Jacobs first pony ride at the Mom Pop and Tot show! He wasn't really too crazy about it, he wouldn't hold on to the saddle so I had to hold him there the whole time. It was fun though!! :)
