Week 2 weigh in = -1.8lbs
Which makes a grand total of 8lbs, not too shabby!! :) The plan seems fairly easy to follow so far and I find that as long as I stick with it I don't have any hunger pains or cravings, which is nice! Last week I did stray a bit off plan and would have a couple bites of Jacobs meal (pasta or a cookie) and that is when I started feeling the hunger pains again, so I need to focus on staying away from carbs/ sugar and stick with the plan, when hungry grab a tall glass of water and wait. Speaking of water ... I am so thirsty on this plan, which is making it super easy for me to have at least 94oz of water everyday! Last night we had wieners and beans for supper, mine were Fat Free wieners and usually we have toast with them but after I finished my beans and weenies I really didn't want the toast, of course though since it was on my plate I had to have at least a bite ... it didn't taste good and soon after trying a bite I regretted it. Next time I won't even put it on my plate! :) I need to listen to my body more and be more aware of my hunger signals, when I'm really hungry and when to stop eating!!
I can't wait to place my second order, I am excited to try some new products, some that are lower in carbs and are a little more tasty. The lunch entrees that came in my starter kit are not very good and they only supply one snack for night, unless you use your shakes and make pudding with them (which I've done). I have noticed that I am saving a ton of money on fruits, veggies and dairy!! I feel like I never get to have dairy (no yogurt or cheese), I suppose I could if it was low fat cause they are considered a protein but they also have carbs!? And veggies I only get at supper time, fruit I have been having apples and a bag of apples is fairly cheap, plus seems to last a while. I thought that this diet was a lower carb diet but after putting my info into Fitday it seems to me like I am having quite a bit of carbs, even without my extras, and quite a bit of sugar? I wonder how much this effects my weight loss? We will see what next week brings, hopefully a bigger number but if I can loose around 2lbs every week I think I would be happy with that? :)
