not too much going on...


So not too much has been happening, I have been working at the track more and Jacob has been at his Grandparents quiet a bit last week. It was so crazy to pick him up after four days of not seeing him, it was like picking up a new kid. I asked what he did at Grandmas all weekend and he actually answered me and most of what he said I understood. They went swimming in the "big" pool, and Grandpa had a hole in his shoe and Jacob fixed it with a hammer!??! LOL Its so funny yo hear him tell you actual stories now, with sentences!!

Last night was kinda a rough night, Jacob woke often and instead of doing what we usually do hubby actually had a little bit of a conversation with him, at three in the morning but still it was kinda cool. Hubby asked what was wrong and of course Jacob didn't answer right away so hubby asked if his blanket was buggin him and he actually said yes!? So we fixed it and walla, Jacob was happy, for a little while - I think he was having bad dreams, now that he is getting older I think his imagination is taking off. I laid with him for a bit and he was good for the rest of the night.

I have been trying to get to the gym but it has been a little harder then normal. When the weather is nice I want to spend it outside and when the weather isn't so nice I don't want to leave the house!!? And now tonight I have plans to go out and tomorrow too so no gym those nights!! I have also noticed that all my "cheats" are catching up to me!! I got on the scale the other day and noticed a gain, a 2lb gain!!! :o So, once again I am going to get back on track, stay focused and be determined to loose more weight!! I have three months to loose another 20ish pounds (or more). Sometimes it's hard to stay on track when your not seeing big results and then you cheat cause you figure what's the point and then you gain and your back at square one!?!? Its exhausting - work so hard for a few pounds and then one bad day and they are all back on again!?!? I am going to start weighing in again on a regular basis and maybe that will help me stay on track!
