Well, I missed one week of posting my weigh in - not because I had the retreat but just cause life got a little hectic. So for week 5 on IP I am down another 3.4lbs! I'm not too crazy about this number because technically when I got weighed in last week I was down 3lbs so this week is really only 0.4lbs?! I haven't been 100%, ever since hearing about my Dads passing but I haven't been totally off the wagon either?! When I was at the retreat I broke after hearing about Dad and had a handful of nacho chips and one small cookie, that night I was up ALL night sick. So I either caught the stomach flu from my roomie (which she had recently gotten over) or my body did not like the sudden sugar/ carb overload (even though it wasn't a crazy overload). Personally I blame the cookie! LOL But since the retreat weekend I have been having a few "cheats", I had a bite of a mozza stick, one chicken fry (from KFC that Jacob offered me), a little bit of butter on my cauliflower mashed "potatoes" (cause it really needed something), a few handfuls of roasted pumpkin seeds and I have been drinking more coffee and less water. BUT ... I stayed away from all of Jacobs Halloween candy and all other snack type food that is in our cupboard. So I haven't been totally crazy, but I think those little extras are not helping me lose the weight. Now that I am back at work I have been better about staying on track and sticking to the diet. I do still have cravings and I do still feel hungry at times but I think that will pass as soon as I get my body used to the diet again.
I have almost lost 20lbs, which is great! My BMI is so close to 29, which will be nice to be out of the 30's and that much closer to 25 (a healthy #). I am now in Onederland and almost halfway to goal!! I am certain that by Christmas time I WILL be done with dieting and onto the maintaining part! I am hoping to stay on track now that all my festivities are over and next week I will have a better number!! :)
